When Lauren and Justin contacted us about filming their wedding at Kindred Oaks we were really excited to finally get a chance to film there. We had heard some really great things about the venue and were eager to finally get the chance to put our cameras to the test there. Kindred Oaks did not disappoint, what a beautiful place for a wedding. Lauren and Justin had an awesome group of friends and family that made the night very special and fun. Check out the video and see for yourself!

Kindred Oaks: Texas Hill Country Wedding Venue

Forever Photography Studios
The thing I love most about Kindred Oaks is not just that it has space for both the wedding ceremony and the reception with a little bed & breakfast attached for a bride-groom overnight stay, but the people who run it. Located in Georgetown in the Texas Hill Country, southern hospitality has never been so prevalent in the whole wedding process as it was demonstrated here. The 11-acre wooded grounds are beautiful, the large pavilion just got a stunning Brazilian Ash wood floor makeover, and the gazebo in the back just got all new elegant chandeleirs. The people who run this place really know what they are doing. The husband and wife duo have 25 years of experience though the place has only been open for 8 (She was a wedding photographer and he ran a chain of nurseries so they know the little nuances that can really set a wedding apart).
In fact, because the weddings here are primarily outdoor, though they’ve only had rain on 5% of their weddings, they have a backup plan, or “Plan B” as they like to call it, so that you never have to cross your fingers and just hope for beautiful weather. They only allow one wedding per day so that the wedding party has all day to relax and hold their event without the added time constraints of regular venues, and they accommodate every season with fans for the summer and early fall, roll down glass walls and space heaters for the winter and early spring, and a fire place for the weather in between so you and your guests can appreciate the beauty of the Hill Country around you without being exposed to the ever changing Texas weather.
