Vista West Ranch is one of those wedding venues that just takes your breath away. Nestled in the southwest corner of Austin in Dripping Springs, TX, this rustic location was the perfect fit for Lauren & Joe’s vintage, artistic themed wedding. The details were extraordinary and precise. It’s easy to see that a ton of creativity and time were spent designing every decoration. The Wedding Theater featured on The Knot!
Recently The Wedding Theater collaborated with the one, the only, The Knot. No introduction needed, The Knot is one of the most popular wedding planning hubs with it’s renowned magazine and website. Working with some members from The Knot, we created several web videos which highlight some of the most premiere wedding venues and services Austin has to offer, such as: Coco Paloma Desserts, The Driskill, Laguna Gloria, Vista West Ranch, and Petal Pushers. If you haven’t seen them yet, they’re definitely worth a look.
While we love shooting weddings, we also enjoy taking advantage of any commercial opportunities that may come along, like working with The Knot and other wedding vendors. The wedding community is pretty close knit and aside from networking with other vendors, we help each other out, even if it’s just means creating a video highlighting their services. Austin Wedding Venues – Vista West Ranch
Here in good ole’ Texas, some of the prettiest, most scenic wedding venues are located in the Hill Country. We’ve featured some of these venues in our previous blogs, such as Red Corral Ranch and Old Glory Ranch. Well today I’m going to add another, Vista West Ranch. Located just west of Austin in Dripping Springs, TX, Vista West Ranch provides a vintage atmosphere with weathered-wood, aged tin, and stained concrete floors. Combined with the scenic Hill Country view and a nice sunset, Vista West is an ideal place for a Texas-style wedding.

Capable of hosting both indoor and outdoor ceremonies, Vista West can accommodate up to 350 people inside their 5520 sq. ft. inclosed barn style building that’s specially made for hosting events. Vista West even has it’s own preferred vendor list and occasionally hosts an Open House for clients to meet their vendors in a comfortable, casual environment. If you’re planning on staying overnight, Vista West has newly built amenities such as a honeymoon cottage for two and a bunkhouse that sleeps up to 14! Not to mention, they also just built an outdoor waterfall that looks really really beautiful in addition to their Biergarten, making Vista West a truly unique Hill Country venue.
