The Orchard can be found in a quiet corner of Dallas-Fort Worth area in Azle, TX. Set in the middle of a 50-acre pecan orchard, this elegant venue sets the perfect Southwestern backdrop for your wedding of any size. The Orchard’s large reception hall can accommodate anywhere from 50 to 400 guests and features a full stage, modern audio / visual equipment, kitchen, bar and many of the other amenities you desire to ensure the most successful wedding event. The 7,700 square foot venue opens to a beautifully landscaped lawn, offering a great venue for an outdoor wedding.
One of the best features of the venue is in it’s owners. The venue is owned by Mike and D’Andra Davidson, who opened the venue because of their experiences in planning their oldest daughters wedding. After searching for the perfect wedding and reception venue, they just hadn’t found what they were looking for. They realized that the over 100 acres of land they had lived on and enjoyed for years was the perfect spot for weddings and receptions. The owners will do almost anything to help couples design their dream wedding and proudly share this great location with couples and their guests as they celebrate new chapters in their lives.
In fact, because the weddings here are primarily outdoor, though they’ve only had rain on 5% of their weddings, they have a backup plan, or “Plan B” as they like to call it, so that you never have to cross your fingers and just hope for beautiful weather. They only allow one wedding per day so that the wedding party has all day to relax and hold their event without the added time constraints of regular venues, and they accommodate every season with fans for the summer and early fall, roll down glass walls and space heaters for the winter and early spring, and a fire place for the weather in between so you and your guests can appreciate the beauty of the Hill Country around you without being exposed to the ever changing Texas weather.
